We’re not that much into surveillance, we really only want to know how many people visit our website and kind of things they look at while they’re here.

It is our intention that this policy will protect your personal information from being dealt with in any way that is inconsistent with applicable privacy laws in Australia. The following are the types of information we may collect:

  1. Information You Provide Us
You may provide us with personal information by sending an email to one of our contacts listed on the "Contact Us" section of our website, by applying for positions with or otherwise sending a resume, or by signing up to participate in an event that we are hosting or sponsoring.

If you visit our site we're going to collect some information from you, but not in a creepy way!

We may collect information from you in several different areas of our website, including but not limited to the following:

1. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for information gathering purposes. Google Analytics collects information anonymously, and reports trends without identifying individual visitors.

2. Cookies
We use a technology called "cookies”, as do many other websites. A cookie is a collection of information that gets stored on the hard drive of your computer when browsing the internet. These small bits of code automatically identify your browser to our website whenever your computer is used to visit the website. Cookies allow us to increase your security and also let us know how many people visit the website and where visitors go on the website. In addition, cookies can let us know non-personally identifiable information, like how many times a user has been on certain pages. By tracking how and when you use the website, cookies help determine which areas are popular and which are not. Many improvements and updates to the website are based on data obtained from cookies. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, your browser should contain an option that allows you to disable or delete cookie data at any time.

3. IP Addresses and Click-Stream Data
We may collect IP addresses and/or click-stream data. An IP address is a number associated with the service through which you access the Internet, like your ISP (Internet service provider), your company, or your university. By itself, your IP address is not personally identifiable. At times, we also use IP addresses for purposes of system administration and to report aggregate information, for example regarding the frequency with which our website’s guests visit various parts of the website. We may combine this information with personally identifiable information we obtain from you directly on our website.

Click-stream data is information collected by our computers and servers when you request pages from our website. Click-stream data may include such information as the page served, the time, the source of the request, the type of browser making the request, the preceding page view and other such non-personal information. When analysed, this data helps us analyse how visitors arrive at our website, what type of content is most popular, what type of visitors in the aggregate are interested in particular kinds of content and advertising, and the like.
